KeraFlake Formula 100™ was originally developed as a special high quality diet for Zoea, Mysis, and postlarval stages of all penaeid and Macrobrachium shrimp.  It is equally useful as a premium quality diet for aquarium and pond fishes and aquatic invertebrates.  The freeze-dried flakes float in the water and are easily eaten by all sized fishes.  Its larger flake size is an excellent food for larger aquarium fishes, as well as for pond koi and goldfish.  KeraFlakes are provided in bulk quantity in a sealed 16 oz metal container. 

SPECIFICATIONS
Analysis:  Minimum crude protein 45%.  Minimum crude fat 12%.  Minimum fiber 2.6%. 
Contents freeze dried marine plankton harvested from the northeastern Pacific Ocean.  Primarily consists of over 90% Euphausia pacifica krill, and the remainder is nigh nutrient microorgansims including phytoplankton.  Freeze dried into thin sheets and broken apart into easily fed flakes.  Vacuum packed in #10 metal containers, 16 oz (454 gm) per container, 6 metal containers per cardboard shipping box.  

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Open 16 oz metal container with a regular can opener.  When first fed, the flakes are a floating food.  After absorbing water at the surface, the flakes will slowly sink to the bottom, making them available to surface, midwater, and bottom feeders.  While not necessary, it is recommended that for aquarium use a Kordon Aquarium Fish Feeder be used, and for pond use a Kordon Pond Fish Ring be used.  These feeders confine the flakes while they are at the surface of the water, allowing the feeding behavior of the fishes to be more closely observed. 

[Note: To avoid overfeeding any fish food, it is best to provide at each feeding only the amount of food that the fish will eat in a minute or so.]  

STABILITY
Until the vacuum-sealed metal container is opened, store in a cool place.  When opened, the container may be refrigerated between uses.

COMPATIBILITIES
KeraFlakes are compatible with other fish foods, and can be used as a treat to vary the diet.
