PROBLEM:

Fish farms and many livestock wholesalers often have a large bio-load in each tank. This situation can generate a rise in toxic ammonia.

SOLUTION:

AmQuel® protects fish and other aquatic life by quickly removing ammonia, chlorine and chloramines in one simple step.

It is equally effective in both fresh or saltwater. AmQuel combines with the ammonia molecule, producing two harmless molecules- aminomethanesulfonate and water. AmQuel also removes chlorine without the use of sodium thiosulfate.

Pure Dry AmQuel is our concentrated powdered version for professionals only. It is non-toxic and harmless to fish, invertebrates, aquatic plants and biological filter beds. Non-toxic to humans and pets. AmQuel does not affect dissolved oxygen levels in the water.

This product is fully compatible with NovAqua® and Fish Protector™.

Dosage can be increased to remove greater amounts of ammonia.

Ammonia will be rapidly eliminated (depending upon the pH of the water treated), and chloramines and chlorine will be eliminated instantly.

For long term storage, keep in a cool, dry place. Shelf life of AmQuel is indefinite.

Water treated with AmQuel cannot be accurately tested with Nessler ammonia test kits nor with Winkler dissolved oxygen (DO) test kits because AmQuel interferes with the reagents used in these tests. Salicylate ammonia test kits are recommended as they are  not affected by AmQuel.
