DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Add 32 mg of Pure Dry AmQuel per liter of water for each 1 mg/L of ammonia (as NH3) measured. At this dosage, 3.2 grams will treat 100 liters (26 gallons), 32 grams will treat 1,000 liters (264 gallons). Dosage can be increased to remove greater amounts of ammonia. Ammonia will be rapidly eliminated (depending upon the pH of the water treated), and chloramines and chlorine will be eliminated instantly.
Note: At the basic dosage 1 level teaspoon will treat approximately 140 liters (37 gallons). 1 level tablespoon will treat approximately 473 liters (125 gallons).
For long term storage, keep in a cool, dry place. Shelf life of AmQuel is indefinite.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
AmQuel protects fish and other aquatic life by quickly removing ammonia, chlorine and chloramines in one simple step. It is equally effective in both fresh or saltwater. AmQuel combines with the ammonia molecule, producing two harmless molecules- aminomethanesulfonate and water. AmQuel also removes chlorine without the use of sodium thiosulfate. This product is fully compatible with NovAqua and PolyAqua.

Water treated with AmQuel cannot be accurately tested with Nessler ammonia test kits nor with Winkler dissolved oxygen (DO) test kits because AmQuel interferes with the reagents used in these tests. Salicylate ammonia test kits are not affected by AmQuel and are recommended.

Pure Dry AmQuel is non-toxic and harmless to fishes, invertebrates, aquatic plants and biological filter beds. Non-toxic to humans and pets. AmQuel does not affect dissolved oxygen levels in the water.
